Stacks Terms of Service

By downloading or using Stacks ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Using Stacks
Stacks is a personal productivity app that lets you organise tools and share them with others. You may use Stacks for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use Stacks to store or share illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
- Create accounts or share invites for the purpose of spam or fraud.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@stacks.mobi if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Stacks offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's account settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their standard policies.
4. Free Tier Limits
Free accounts are limited to 5 mindspaces and 10 stacks. Upgrading to a paid plan removes these limits. We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits with reasonable notice.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create in Stacks. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store and sync that content solely to provide the service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
6. Sharing and Collaboration
When you share a stack with others, the recipients can view or edit it per the role you assign. You are responsible for deciding who you share content with.
7. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any loss caused by downtime.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your content will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Disclaimers and Liability
Stacks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
